Welcome to Carver Custom Predator Calls. I think we have some of the finest calls available. With 30 years of calling Experience, I made my first call in the mid 1970s. It was a horn howler made from an old semi truck horn with a hand built reed. Since then we have evolved into what we are now.
All our calls are hand made from several of the hardest woods available, such as Ebony, CocoBolo, Osage, Maple, Oak, etc. These woods are also very beautiful. We also hand make our own tone boards. I have spent countless hours perfecting the sound of each model call. We make our calls to be very user friendly with superb sound.
We do not mass produce our calls. They are hand made, one at a time, with a lot of care going into each call. We hand polish each call with a 10 step process. I hand tune every call before they leave my shop to ensure that when you receive your call, its tuned and ready to go.
Saturday morning the temperatures dropped and using the Extreme Rabid Rabbit Proto type by Kerry Carver, first two stands and two dogs within the first 10 minutes of calling. Decided to go with the 17 HMR 20 grain HP Hornady. Very seldom use the little 17 but the dogs came within 20 feet, so good medicine at that range. The new Coaxer by Kerry Carver was used to get one of the dogs to stand on its back haunches and look over a sage bush and was drilled at that point! Kerry's new plastic molded calls are definitely working and the tone boards are perfect! Looking forward to the new 4 call pack by Kerry to come out soon!

This dog was called in by Doug with Carver Predator Hand calls, all handmade in the USA. We used Vortex Binos to glass the area and I used a Hawke Scope with they're BRP that can be downloaded for free from they're site. The round was a 22-250 50G V-MAX. This is my favorite round it really puts the dogs down. We all zeroed our rifles off of the D.O.A. Tactical Shooting Bench, once you have zeroed from a great bench how can you miss..
